Chaia May, An educator and teacher trainer in the Bay Area for 30 years, will be leading a Spanish Immersion language class for children 2 and up.

Using engaging visual props, music, movement and any and all performance skills she has honed over her years as a performer, she will transmit the basics of numbers, colors, shapes and phrases in playful ways without the children realizing they are learning.

Chaia has traveled and lived in Hispanic communities, as well as received a Rotary Fellowship to study at the Catholic University in Santiago Chile. She has taught Spanish as well as music classes to children of all ages and has credits equal to an Early Childhood degree in preparation for her having run a pre-school as well as lectured nationally on Sensory Integration in the Pre-School classroom.
